This is a treasure to keep forever! I love that you did this in Black and White and you captured so much detail and the b&w takes away any distraction from the story telling genius this picture has.

think this is a lovely little shot with a good story,its the simplistic feel in this that appeals in this,some one who has put some thought into this and the subdued b/w and the softish look has combined to make for a charming shot,and like the connection between the mans thumb/childs hand,good luck in the contest...brian

Really captivating piece. It really works as B&W. You've got just enough black in there without it overpowering the image. The remaining gray and white leaves a softness or gentleness/trust to the relationship between the hands. Great clarity, depth of field, and composition.

I had a very elderly German artist as a patieny (many years ago) and his whoe artisticife was devoted to partrayig 'hands' in all their beauty...there is so much one can 'say' and you have certainly said it...Well done and many congrats !...Monty

excellent creativity and perfect lighting. The way every wrinkle and texture even in the sleeve is beautiful. The angle of the hands and the sharpness of the image are wonderful.. the soft contrast and black and white add to the impact. Very will done.
