I am truly a doggie person,and Ronja is a beautiful girl, and makes a wonderful shadow in the snow. Lighting on her is great. I love the simplicity of the image, but with lots of detail. Her pose and facial direction are great.

Just dog gone excellent. Lighting and shadows are awesome. The red tongue gives just enough color punch. Very nice photo.

Good image. I love shots where the shadow of something is very predominant.
The only thing I would have done differently is maybe increase the darker colors a little. But I like my images to have a high contrast.
As it stands the dog is a very lovely blue grey color in the sunlight.

Excellent! Ronja does look like a very placid dog with those big brown eyes. Great composition, excellent focus giving nice detail and texture, superb handling of the white snow, clearly showing light and shadows and nice depth. Excellent camera work, well done and good luck!

What a beautiful shot of this very sweet dog with her shadow, certainly a very good entry for the contest. The composition is just perfect with the dog offset a bit. The texture of the snow very good. Good luck in the contest.

An apt shot for the contest. You have succeeded too in getting the whole shadow of the dog in the frame, as well as the dog himself. Although taken in colour, looks like a monochrome photograph because of the natural colours of the subjects. White snow is not an easy subject to capture well but there are lots of contrasts in light. Good Luck in the contest.
