Love this photo.
It reminds me of Jesus' time when i was trying to picture an image in my head while reading the bible.
It looks antique and unique.
Pretty cool picture and it works great to be in this contest.
Hopefully you win, because i love it!

Have no 6 stars to give you. Absolutely love this picture. I really hope you win this contest. You must live in a foreign place where they still kept the original artitecture. Good luck!

Some very interesting textures and signs of age in this shot. Great that you've managed to give the viewer two doors to ponder and both very different. Doors are a fantastic subject matter and these two are presented very well indeed. You can't beat a bit of weathering and decaying. Great work.

I love this photograph, the simplicity of the idea but the detail of the capture. The contrasting greens used on the two doors creates a narrative in itself.

THEY ARE TALKING and telling wondrous stories - side by side same in architectural arch and structure different in individual style - fantastic view and you are right they are charming and are very special - this image shows us different layers and paintings they had over the time - an old building with character and certainly fabulous at his earlier age
A perfect contest entry, special in many ways - well composed, perfect in focus , contrast and lighting, good exposure pin sharp on details , great view, all the best for the contest

I too love door shots and this one is great. As they say, "two doors, no waiting." Good focus and composition. Nicely balanced. Great subject matter with the distressed walls and structure that gives it age and texture.

I agree with your comments on this, and although the doors are worn and battered they still manage to make a very attractive picture. All the colors compliment each other and I too am intrigued to know what goes on behind closed doors such as these.

Doors, steps are such a metaphor for life itself. Here choices are abundant in the the doors are at different heights, and although similar the stand alone in both the subtle diversity of the patina of time that leaves memories of what was and what is here right now. Framed and presented that draws the eye in and takes us beyond the skills of the artists mind to simply want to see what exists behind the doors.
