This is one of the clearest picture I have seen in a while. Beautiful flowers are fabulous!
The green around it gives it reality!
Background is blurred that focus on thr flowers and Hoover flies!.
Peace,
Brenda

Although I wish this was slightly more in focus, I like that the two hoverflies (I learned about them on FAR!) are "working" on the one flower.
Nice composition.

Yes they are all over the world and can drive you made at time when sitting out with a beer. Nice clean image with sharp focus on the flies. The light just glinting of their backs giving some detail. Overall a nice framed image

Looks like the hover flies are enjoying the sun like you. Very good catch, two for one shot, focused and framed to show the beauty of nature. They look just like the hover flies we have here in Arizona too.

Quite a juggling act to get the two of them in focus. I like the white flowers and the soft background. I would tend to crop this into a vertical and burn in the bright spot in the background behind the lower flower.

Sure look like hover flies alright. You can tell by the fly like compound eyes. so this is winter in Australia eh! Blooms and flying insects in winter. Not like winters where I live! haha A fine shot of the hoverflies going after the sweet nectar of these pretty blooms. The white is a little blown out on the top of the flower but it still makes a nice photo. You caught the hoverflies with a sharp focus showing the fine detail of them.

Mary,
A beautiful picture of the two Hover Flies on the Snow Drops lit by a sunbeam. The Hover Flies casting shadows on the Snow drops white petals. Artistic composition, beautiful natural lighting with superb camera techniques with razor sharp focus on the Flies & the Snow Drops.

Mary,
To mistake them for bees I've made the same mistake especially with larger varities of Hover Flies. The eyes are usually larger than a bes & not alway black like the bee's
