I LOVE this! The symbolism of the sleleton hand vs. human hand the crushed clock vs the nice new one fit the contests theme perfectly. One signifies there is a time for death and one for life.
I like the creative background and lighting here as well.

Love the illustration of time in this physical life to time in death to time in eternal life. You have truly capture the essence that is unlimited, and omnipresent. The green on the side of the bony hand says to me, " peace in death ".

This is about the ultimate entry for this contest. It shows the complication in approaching the theme from a creative angle other than the physical end of objects. The composition is perfect. There is an exquisite balance between light and dark areas as between the life and dead parts. I find the use of butterflies to make the life-dead connection interesting. I have a good guess who is the artist on this one. You did a master streak. It looks like a winner to me. Best Luck!

Thank you so very much for the lovely review Cleo, and of course also for all the stars. I am not so sure it is going to win though. I think some people don't like the subject matter, but I had the idea, and just went through with it.

Sorry, I am late again. I seem unable to catch up on all the work.
I believe, we as Europeans see the whole theme very different than the grow of the North American people, but Latin Americans probably fall for it like we do.
