sounds painful..man what u photographers have to go thru to get the great shot..wink. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the flowers is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Ouch!! Sounds like something I would have done Mary. Never pay attention to where I am when I'm trying to get a shot. Fell into a river once trying to get into position. Stepped right off the edge of the river bank! Nice shot of these backlit flowers with the blue sky background. So pretty and I can see the long spikey leaves of the tree. You got a good angle with the sun lighting up some of the flower petals and the rest in shadow. Good photo and thanks for sharing it.

Wow, sounds like a good one to stay away from. A nice back lighting shot, hint of blue sky, focused and framed. Reminds me of a local plant here, bougainvillea that have super long sharp spines that you do not really see until it is too late.
