A very pretty nature scene, like the colors, composition, focus and frame with a bonus little butterfly. Well presented.

I agree with you, it's interesting to show the different stages of the flowers in the background. I like the angle you used for this, showing the butterfly and its shadow on the large daisy.
Lighting and focus very good showing excellent detail. Very nice composition. Suzanne

Life is but a dream.
Mary, Thank you for explaining that crop in your artist's notes and I bow to your artistic prerogative. It is actually quite refreshing to see more than just a butterfly on a flower.
You have adhered to photographic rules in placing the flower to side and that does strengthen the image's drawing power.
The colours are natural and nice, not overcooked like many, another refreshing aspect of this image.
Did you shoot this in A mode? I have a feeling you did as the petals are blown out and the butterfly is not sharp at all. YOu need to bite the bullet and shoot M which will give you more creative power.

Thanks Olga, I will give M a try usually use Aperture. Was shooting with 50mm lens and northerly wind but always seem to have problem when using prime lens.
