Cool,Cleo!
Personally I've created dozens of cartoon characters but they're not the type of cartoon character that would be very well received here on FAR! : )
This dude that you;ve created is really Cool,my friend!
He's pleasingly colorful,he projects a perfect 'rodeo star' attitude ( the kind that would work for a Stock Car driver too! ) and he's simply a lotta' fun to look at!

Great contest entry with beautiful yellow color hat and purple scarf. The cowboy looks like he is ready for the rodeo and is ready to win. Nice background with the colors needed for the contest.
Good luck!

yes i really love the idea. he reminds be a bit of the 'lucky luke' character but with more Americanized features. the colours are very good and very suitable for this type of style. you made a fine creation indeed.

A pretty good looking entry into the competition posted here! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of your cocky cowboy. Like his hat! Nicely painted and good luck!

His is a very nice entry for this contest! I love cowboys and the western aspect of equestrian activities , like rodeos, this cowboy is concentrating as he practices his skill with the lasso ! I can see it spinning above his head, his expression is perfect to show his concentration. I like your use of selective color the red on his collar, the blue on his bandana and that hint of blue in the sky and the bright yellow on his hat.
Very well rendered digital painting , well presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

This is definitely a 'determined cowboy' composition. He may be determined about the character, contest or the sincerity of the cowboy hat!
lol. Either way, I love the colors here and the lines of the facial features. The swirl above makes me think of a laso. It adds an energy to the photo plus the spots of color.
Nice digital painting.
Fun to view.

I like this piece. It reminds me of the scientist in curious george. Nice detail in the hat and face. I would have tried tomake the piece a bit sharper. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you much for your review and your input. Mmmm, sharper. I have to think about this. I deliberatly softened the sharp outlines of the basic scratch because I wanted to create a cartoon character, different from others, by avoiding the hardness of and typisierung of Anime and Manga.
