This is a special color just in the space in between of red and brown - would be normal at this place red not - anyways you shot is outstanding as we do not see these things anymore since long time , a time travel to simple working placed where hand made still is usual , excrement focus, super contrast and lighting

Indeed, what more can you say. Red buckets can't be anything else but red buckets, and I honestly think this an original and creative entry for the contest. I think however it might be an idea to increase the saturation a bit, because to me these buckets look almost orange, and it would be a pity if the photo was disqualified for not being red enough.
Your photo is anyway nice and sharp showing such clear and well defined details all over, and also the exposure is perfect.
The framing is perfect, and the 4 buckets in the foreground have got a very good placement. I really like this photo because it is different, and it also really well taken and with a very good DOF. I wish you luck with the contest.

Can't even begin to guess. There seems to be another row on the far side of the beam. They sure use a lot of buckets. A fine shot with very good colors and excellent composition. Best of luck in the contest.

Thank you very much. Someone suggested they were red so they would only be used for one purpose. Sounds ok to me. :-)

Paint the ones red and only use them for milking the cows. That's my story! Great camera techs with fine paint peeling detail. Solid exposure with very nice light and color. I think your red might lean a little toward the orange side but... could be my monitor. We had that discussion in the forum. Has really nothing to do with calibration, I can stand and see a one color then sit and see a different color. Go from the laptop to the desktop and see two different colors. Anyway... I digress. Great photo. Thanks for sharing and good luck!!!

I like your explanation of the bucket color. Makes sense. Do not like you suggestion that the buckets might be orange..lol Checked the original, looks red to me. Always a problem I guess. Thank you for the very nice review. I always enjoy your reviews because you actually look at the work. A few others do as well. Way too few. Anyway, thanks again.
