You've created a beautiful piece of artwork here. There is a simplicity that adds to it's beauty. Nice colors. I love the details of the bare branches that stand out against the background and the line of birds flying by. Great work! :)

That's a very attractive painting,my friend,and it brings to mind how things usually look around here in the Winter!
I'd have prob'ly left that line of birds ( are they geese? They look like they might be! ) out of the scene and just let the beautiful full moon and those elegant bare trees dominate the scene but I still think of 'Winter Moon' as being an OUTSTANDING painting!

Thank you so much, Sean! I found this photo online and loved it, so I don't know what kind of birds these are, they look smaller than geese, I like the bird line, but I may do another one without, make even more minimalistic.

It does look cold. Normally I would tsk, tsk about every thing being right in the center but in this case it all works just fine. The whole is beautifully balanced and the colors perfect. the subtle moonlight on the snow also perfect. I sometimes hesitate to review traditional art because I know so little about the materials and techniques but this is so elegant and serene that I had to say something.

A tsk is a small disapproving noise made with the tongue and the top of the mouth. I am sorry. I forget that I may not be communicating with someone who lives next door. It was a meaningless comment, meant to be amusing. I absolutely love your piece and would have given it a six but I have none left.

That is one very beautiful piece of work you've created there. I love the simplicity of it. Great colours and tones, blended together. The trees are ever so delicate with their branches reaching out precariously. I just love it.
