If I had a Hammer

Some of my tools

I never fully understood the concept of this contest, but since this is yours, I have to assume you have got it right. I do however confess that I am not seeing two different angles. Or do I ? LOL It is anyway a creative approach, and I think the tools are standing out from the neutral background in the most excellent way.

The photo is also nice and sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in the tools. Also the exposure is spot on and a fine shine has been brought out in the head of the hammer.

I also think the photo is nicely framed and the tools have a fine placement within the frame. This is a fine and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Thank you very much for your kind review. I am not sure if I understand the concept fully, but I hope I did. There are a couple threads which clarify the rules some. There have to be two subjects in the photo. They do not need to be of the same kind. On each one of those subjects, two or more angles have to be shown. Those angles cannot be connected with each other as in a geometrical shape, like a square or triangle. If you look at the smaller hammer there is an almost 90 degrees angle on each side where the handle met the head. On the bigger hammer those angles have different degrees.

OK, think I have got it, and then this is a fine entry. You are more than welcome for the review.

Actually, you could have 8 from all four sides!
Aptly captured for the contest theme... Pin sharp focusing.
Subtle illumination.
Nice close up in a semi diagonal angle.
I guess its better if one hammer is standing on its handle.
I have a shot like that but they are 3 different kinds of hammers.
Best of luck in the contest! Thanks for sharing...

Thank you very much for your kind review.
How do you make an hammer standing on its handle? If I try that, the hammer falls down and hit me, or worse hit the camera.

I had it stand, my friend! It depends on how they designed your handles there. Or let it stand on its
    Opposite end...

Thank you! Opposite end works for the little one if there are no vibrations from the street. The big one is not flat enough, the handles are rounded also.
