This is a fantastic looking pencil drawing, and indeed a fine entry into this still life contest. I like the simplicity, and the fine background you have created for the two pears. But more than anything I like how well you have brought light into this drawing by the good use of high light.

Your pencil work is for sure worth a closer look, because every line and shape is so accurate, and as always you have paid such a good attention to details. You have not forgotten to add fine drop shadows either.

The format and framing works really well and the two pears have got a fine placement on the paper. Indeed a great looking and well done drawing, and I wish you luck with the contest.

A really good drawing. The shadows and shading give good quality depth to the pears and I really love the details to both the pears and the floor.
