A nicely composed shot. I will say that my attention is first and last drawn to that little green leaf. I like the detail in the monkey and her baby and the tight cropping is great.

looks like my cousin. she always did wear too much makeup...wink..lol. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the monkey and youngin is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

As is the cased with many creatures forced to interact with humans. a sad and bewildering situation. She does not look like she appreciates your presence, but an educational and welcome image nonetheless. Thanks for sharing.

after I read you took this with your phone I understood why it is so grainy and why the light is so badly handled, pity since the story telling and the composition are really nice

Great image of mom and young It must have been difficult not only to get them to look but to sit still to capture a shot. A little over saturated with some white outs on the head. A little cleanup on those would make the pic stand out. Good luck

A lovely picture with a good narrative that highlights what a problem this catch 22 situation is with these monkeys and their behaviour - but as you say they are only reacting to their surroundings. The photo has great clarity and the colours and textures of the monkey's fur and face is clear and crisp. Good timing capturing it looking dead on at the camera, with the baby playing around oblivious behind. You can tell by the expression she's potentially hostile! a great shot and best of luck.
