More work with that great Macro lens of yours?
Good capture of the butterfly but I also really like the background on this one. The upper part of this image is very well done. I like the soft green area and then the way it merges with the purple on the left and from above. Like a mist in the distance. Nicely done

When I saw this beautiful work in the contest I knew it was yours! Congratulations on the well deserved win. The details that can be seen of the butterfly are so crisp. The exposure is wonderful and the texture jumps off the wings. I think the soft effects are attractive. This is just such a pretty and interesting butterfly to view.

The contrast if the purple botanicals against the yellow butterfly is very appealing. The softness makes the image have an ethereal quality. Your camera captured both the flowers and animal perfectly.

Being an ex-professional chemist I feel honour bound to inform you that those wings are NOT sulphur coloured! I have used and worked with sulphur many times and wish to inform joy that it has a bright refreshing yellow colour!! Your image is well composed, well exposed and is sharp. Well done and good look!

Sulphur is the name of the butterfly, that is why this was added to the title. Some of these species do however have colors as you describe. Thank you so much for the review as well.

Excellent focus! Love the colors and the sharp details. I wonder how it would look with the flower moved a little to the right...although that would put the beautiful butterfly into the center which might not work.
