Oh this is one chubby, healthy looking happy little Robin Jo and a wonderful entrant for this contest.

Focus is good....he is perfectly detailed. Colors are natural. Nothing over worked and I ALWAYS like that. It's well exposed and your softly diffused background lets all the attention be on the little guy. Well cropped giving us a bird's eye (sorry...lol) view of this fellow...and just the best sparkle in that eye.

Nicely put together and presented. Best of luck w/ it in the contest.

Deborah

My pleasure Jo. I am envious....I rarely get birds unless it's through my windows...lol

An excellent image of the Robin! I like your post processing work as well!
Glad to hear you feeling the birds in the cold weather. We do the same
and have lots of birds here in the yard. Very sharp image with excellent dof for background blur. Like how you filled your frame with the subject. Focal point right on the Robins eye! Great impact with excellent lighting and exposure values. Great technique and high technical excellence. A pleasure to few and thanks for sharing!

Regards.

I do the same up here in Lancashire! Feed them every morning without fail, rain or shine!! Your full and central composition gives us an enjoyable look at your happy looking robin. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done and good luck!

Delightful shot with stunningly beautiful light on the bird. Beautiful focus and wonderful catchlights in that eye. Wonderful, soft background could maybe benefit from a touch of noise reduction. Well done!
