Absolutely wonderful, tones perfect and the thick thighs are a must in eternal beauty love the pose, her waste is perfect again great feel in the composition . Just one thing, I know I am no one in particular but in the eyes view should not the beauty be from within so the face is pleased ? ( just a question) She is extremely beautiful but the face . . . seems not to be not so her internal bliss, I'm not sure if I am saying that right. This is a beauty. honest . Just something. hmm. . . Thank you very much for your six star vote and you comments. I think I understand what you are saying about the eyes and the facial expression. I considered making the facial expression somewhat along the concept you are trying to express but rejected it as I felt it would introduce an element of sexual seduction that I did not want in the painting. I wanted an expression more in tune with simple acceptance of self being and being involved with inner thoughts that are private and personal, not to be revealed to the world. I hope this explanation helps with understanding my rejection of the expression you are trying to say.

Well Carl, you just got my last 6 of the week. I don't usually review 'nudes' (I like looking at them, but rarely have anything to say). Thank you for your five star vote and your comments. I also am not a fan of erotic art. I am not a fan of any art that is exploitative, abusive or demeaning in any fashion. So many people make the mistake that looking at a nude woman is erotic. It is not. It is looking at beauty. I don't think I have ever seen an erotic ancient Greek statue. If there are any, I have missed it because of the simple beauty of the work. Just read this erotic definition to get the feel of what I am not attempting to do with painting nudes.

Carl, of all the human forms I've seen painted on this site, this human form is simply sensational. It is picture perfect realism and that is why I'm drawn to it.
Not only is it picture perfect, the detail is realistic showing wonderful shadowing that emphasizes musculature of the human form, the shadow light is perfect. The dimensional aspects are rock solid the head to torso ratio dead on, the pose complicated yet well executed.
Your background in darkness only highlights the beautiful woman on the rug...the detail in her hair, the detail in the eye...good heavens you have a gift and may you continue to grow in it.
The pose is evocative without being provocative, it is sensual with respectability.
I know as an artist you would like to know how your could improve, which areas need help....sorry this is dynamite and I am so happy to give you a 6 and tell you that you will do well in this contest. You have my vote!
