This is a stunning abstract art work....it does look like water swirling. Good initial impact and presentation. The movement in this piece is incredible. Excellent skill and technique. Your play with light and shadows makes this an interesting piece and adds depth. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing.

This past winter I made a photo project out of "spring ice" and while this one does have a liquid look to it, I think it looks more like ice. The colors are eye catching and I like the composition.

Wow I think this is the best piece I have seen yet ! I love how it flows! I really appreciate the blue on the right hand side it would be nice to see little traces of it elsewhere in this work, Overall it seems like you are beginning to master this !

A beautiful image of moving water with the currents light & shadows making patterns & shapes in the centre I imagine I can see a Spaniel coming up with a scared looking rabbit beside him on the left two open mouthed fish & on the right a fast moving seal after a fish. Created with your artist's eye & knowledge of colours & different paints & how they react with one another in bringing this imaginary scene to life.

What about dropping a few colorful pebbles on this kind of work before it sets or drizzling a little sand here and there? Maybe some beads? Or since it could look like hardened lava, some TINY chips of colored glass to represent precious stones in the crannies that get created during lava formations? For me this is a bit too plain as it is, but that is me... Daphne Oberon

Yes, it is water swirling around, perhaps from the end in a tide pool, I like the way these colors mingle and blend together and the tonal variations in this work, it's beautiful seafoam with deeper blues and earthy browns, the whites show motion and reflect the light! It's a beautiful view of the water!

I like how all this can happen by swirling paint around. To duplicate something like this with a brush would take many frustrating hours. There is one spot at the top right that I keep looking at. I think because it looks like an eye to me. Nicely done artwork.

Many thanks, Karen, for your lovely review. Sometimes I help the movement by blowing through a straw and tweaking with a cocktail stick. Suzanne
