Jake looks like a very playful dog, and your stop action is excellent to manage to get such a good shot of the shaking off of water. Every drop of water is standing out so well, and I like the close and personal approach.
Your photo is pin sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of the dog, and also the fine textures in the fur. The exposure is spot on.
The photo is nicely cropped, and the dog has got a fine placement within the frame. Indeed a great looking and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

A very fine action shot. It is well cropped/composed and has outstanding color. I like the look of his almost closed eye and sharp mouth and nose. Of course the flying water is always a treat. Best of luck in the contest.
