If there is something which moves quickly, humans will get onto it, if they can't find it, they will create it and what they have created from plain boards is amazing ie surfboarding, skateboarding and you name it. I was more timid and loved my bicycle, i was always on it, until quite recently when I had a broken heel and very badly stretched tendons and miss it, just being able to get up and go. now it is public transport for me. Cleverly simple background to set off the theme, and a bit of interesting painting of the shell.

That was a super review and i loved your comments. I too liked to cycle but 18 months ago i had a knee op. And the surgeon accidentally cut my tendon and muscle. I have 1 leg now longer than the other and restricted knee bend so like you its public transport. Hoping your heel is mended and not giving problems.

heel is, but tendons arn't. Likewise .. that is a devil, when a surgeon makes a mistake like that...

This is great interpretation of take offs and landings! I think it's original and unique. Nice job making the action look so realistic. I like how her hair is flying around her head with the motion. Your shading and highlights as well as the colors are very nicely done.

Diminishing perspective.
Vanishing viewpoint.
A low vantage angle really change the visual language and power dynamics of this image!

So many elements in this fantastic creation, to bring it to life for the viewer. I love the stop action. The hair flying up in the air, with this brave skateboarder. The bright summer sky, and the trees offer us the feel of outdoors with all of its welcoming fun. Great colors.

My son did a lot of skateboarding as a teenager, you have created a wonderful scene full of details with excellent colors and tones, this young girl is taking an off the board jump at the skateboard park! Thank you for reviewing. Understanding comments much appreciated. I enjoyed doing this. My nephew who I looked after when he was a young guy loved skateboarding. It's quite amazing how high they go and some of those manoeuvres!
