Hi Brenda, this young girl ,is saying her bedtime prayer with her eyes closed and her hands folded, it is the face of innocence ,you have drawn her very well with good facial shape and structure, nice facial features , well suited to her face, I like her long brown hair and the way you show the tonal variations in the strands , I like the way it is parted on her right side and falls to frame her face. She wears light blue pajamas. I have always had faith, and for me it got stronger as I got older, however I know that children follow what they are taught with acceptance, as they get older, they sometimes look for ways to dis prove what they were taught when they were young. This is well presented, I liked the narrative you included. Best wishes to you in this contest!

Thank you Pat for a very understanding review. I was having coffee this morning in a cafe and was finishing this off when the waitress said it was very like her granddaughter. She asked if she could buy it!!! So Sold ! She also talked about her faith so I did a photocopy on art paper and translated the prayer into Portuguese. It was such a pleasure to see her delight with both.

Thank you so much for your review and understanding comments. A lady bought this when she saw me working on it whilst in a cafe having coffee. Said it was very like her granddaughter. She is Portuguese so I translated the prayer for her and made a copy. It was a delight to see her response.
