I guess he doesn't mind being called a Grackle - no ruffled feathers here ;) That water looks like what we have here in Florida when it hasn't rained in a while.

Thank you! We have many ponds that are filled with duckweed and algae for most of the summer.

I will just have the side salad thanks! Bugs! Uggh! ;)
Nice timing to witness this and capture. I once saw a Little Green catch a Dragonfly.
:(
Fine focus, great eye clarity and fine Exposure.
Nice work Greenie :)

The crocked branch winding through the photo is a surprising feature. It frames the bird in an unusual way. Apparently, the Grackle takes its food with veggies. I see parts of a little big hanging out of its beak. The bird looks funny with that duckweed on its bill. The photo is focused, has good depth and is well exposed. The colors are realistic. The bird is excellently placed into the frame. The composition is balanced.

A nicely captured stop motion shot!
The crooked twig and its bent neck complement each other well!
Sharply focused.
Natural colors, lighting & setting.
Visually balanced diagonal framing.
Thanks for sharing...
