It is not difficult to see that this is a happy dog, and in this photo it also looks like Scrappy is smiling. I think especially the eyes are well captured, and I also like the low key and the Close and personal approach.
The photo is pin Sharp showing such Clear and well defined details in every part of the dog, and the exposure is spot on.
The tight cropping is working well, and the dog has got a fine placement within the frame. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo Willie, and I wish you Luck With the contest.
