This may just be an opinion but the flame looks far too over-blended, as if you simply used the gradient tool in photoshop. In addition the contrast between the flame and the black background is hard on the eyes, usually candle flames have a softer edge that makes them aesthetically pleasing. Some simple composition changes and it'll be perfect!
