The snow might warm and protect the buds some, but I am not sure if they will be preserved. Your close-up is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail and textures. The buds are perfect placed within the frame. The centered framing warrants a good balance. The photo is well composed.

A beautiful picture of the red Camelia buds under a blanket of snow that has slipped off the leaves. Beautiful composition , framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
We've had snow here too up in the mountains & 1cm in my garden on Monday... More is expected today.
