I think they are colorful in Costa Rica and larger in size. Here in Florida they are so small they can be mistaken for Dragonflies from a distance. Thank you so much for your comments.

This is actually a very good photograph that you took. I like the light being enhanced in the background to bring the bird more as the focus of the picture. With very good notes to go along with the picture. Excellent work, thank you for sharing!

Nice silhouette. Like the commentary. The background is plain but nice enough; however, with more work there, the image would be nicer. Unique situation with the photography also.

The work is nice but if you had a way of removing the dark streak near the head in the background, and maybe other just to make the silhouette pop even more.

This silhouette is impressive. The high key approach is intriguing. The light reflections at the beak and the bowed rot are interesting. Your close-up photo is well focused and exposed. The bird is perfect placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.
