Straight forward view of this lighthouse which is fine but do feel this could have been improved somewhat,i would have taken the same view then explored new angles to take this,if you had got lower and nearer the lighthouse it would have been much more prominent in this...Brian

Wow!! This is a fairy- tale dream! The sky is so richly blue. The greens are vibrant. The water looks so calm and peaceful. The lighthouse is nicely placed to balance out the boats in the distance. Well done!!

As a lover of lighthouses, I am a bit disappointed that the location was not identified. Now, back to the review. The construction of the scene. The diagonal shoreline and the waterway seem so natural as if we were there with you. Colors are outstanding and the contrast of the green and blue water is very harmonious. The top third with the frosted blue sky caps the scene perfectly. Great shot. Too bad there was not a contest to enter.

Thanks. This is at Winter Island in Salem, Mass. Also part of Fort Pickering which was established way back in the 1600s. Troops were also stationed there during the Civil and Spanish American Wars.
