Jesuel,
thank you for the critique. I agree, Sometime simple and uncluttered is the best way to show a subject.

I never really paid much attention to the Maserati emblem, but it sure is perfect for the car. A very fine shot that is well composed. Best of luck in the contest.

Mike,
It was the city's Fountain of Neptune that inspired the Maserati Trident logo, symbolising both Bologna itself and the automotive brand. In about 1920 Maserati needed a logo that would ensure that its new car would stand out from the crowd.
When the trident on the Maserati logo is on a white or silver field, it represents the land, where Maserati vehicles rule the roads. The red trident symbolizes the fiery power of the Maserati, which delivers unparalleled performance on highways from Rome to Chandler, and around the world.
Thank you for the critique.

This is a trident, a lower case greek letter psi. It is a symbol of power and strength. The Maserati logo comprises of a white trident on a blue background, symbolizing Neptune's trident at Bologna's Piazza Maggiore. The tagline, "Excellence through passion", in uppercase characters is placed below. The Maserati logo was first introduced in 1926 when the brothers produced their first Tipo 26 model. Lots of luck in the contest. Ray

It looks like a trident to my eyes. This symbol is called a 'Trishul' in Hindu scriptures that hppens to be a weapon in the hands of the Trinity of Gods!:) Your capture appears to be perfect . Good luck!

Maserati...a horrendously overpriced brand of automobile with an emblem that resembles 'the Trident of Paracelsus',an important tool in classical western European 'High Sorcery'.
I'm fascinated with European 'High Sorcery' and I'm enjoying this fine looking photographic presentation too!

It looks like the Trident of Paracelsus to me! There's probably something 'occultish' about it.

Interesting subject to photograph. Thank you for the description as without it, some of us might've had drawn a blank. The gray background works well for this logo.

I wish there were a little more light on the emblem to bring out the red details a bit better. Framing is adequate but composition could be improved by having a little bit of the car visible. It would give it more depth and appeal. Good luck in the contest.

Clear and colour accurate I would say. I would have liked to see the vehicle. They are indeed beautiful cars. I noticed on most that I looked up the badge was on bonnet and front grill. This looks like it might be on a bonnet. Good Luck in the comp

This emblem is indeed interesting. The spikes remind of arrows. I guess that those arrows are symbolic for the speed the car could reach. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement detail. The reflections at the metal are especial interesting. The photo is well composed. The emblem is well placed within the frame. The centered presentation pleases the equilibrium of the viewers. The composition is balanced.
