Yes I think I did. I like it too. I think it?s simple but nice and actually, I think I?m going to print it and hang it in my bathroom. The limited colour matches. But I might add a saying. Not sure what yet. Lol.

Fine work for your try with this media. I've used oil-based colored pencils. They don't bloom like the wax-based ones do. This is fine done in seemingly limited colors. They may need more color or filling in and the tree trunk portion as well. The eye on the top bird is brighter, the second bird is nicely animated. But this is right nice in this style.

I am not a drawer per say; I'm a photographer, but I appreciate all forms of art. To me, this drawing is excellent. The three birds are separative enough that they are not too much. Your tree is remarkably done well.

As a sketch and practice model, ykur creativebess and design of a little scene of sparrows on a bra ch has worked out well. This is acceptable as it is, the tree is balanced as are the birds form . .. as a draft it is an excellent work out and a full painting in this style with good detail will be very enjoyable.

Thanks Brenda. Yes I agree a full out painting would be better but like I said it?s experimental for me. I may try to work on it more to improve it or just redo it using paint instead.

Actually sometimes less is more. This in itself has an appeal. There is a finesse in pencil work that misses paintings, I think as experimental that this is, is enough, its good work

I like the song sparrows and the way you have placed them in the tree , I like the way the top two are facing opposite each other and the open beak on the middle one.
Well created with good shape and structure , the proportions appear accurate. I like the white background and limited color palette.
