It is always exciting to know you are in the same place as a famous person once was. I wonder if the restaurant can charge higher prices knowing that a famous person once sat there. LOL

I looked up the painting and I recognized it. You hang out in some really neat places. I can't help thinking back to what Renoir was thinking when he first saw this scene. I wonder if he said, I guess I will paint this scene and become famous. Jus my crazy imagination working overtime. Thanks for historical perspective.

Very cool and can say 100 plus years later. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of the patrons eating in the restaurant is great. The presentation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

I like this. I like the canal of water. I'd like to see this showing more water and sharper color. But that's just my taste. I think that it's quite fascinating that Renoir actually sat there.

An interesting picture of this Historic restaurant where Auguste Renoir painted his painting "Le Déjeuner des Cannotiers" looing out onto the river on which the pale sky is reflected that lights up the people as they dine. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques& sharp focus.
