Hi Ray, I like the blue outline you added to the flowers. Whites often cast blue shadows so it could be a nice shadow effect. The white flower could also have a thin rim of blue on the edge of the petals. Rimmed flowers with a different color from the main bloom always look pretty. Looks like these flowers have some bold foliage. I think it's a nice comparison to the delicate flower. Great presentation My Friend! Congratulations on your first place win! :o) Nancy

I really like what an seeing, and even if the white blossoms are truly pretty, it is actually the background I like the best. The blue and greens offers such a great contrast to the golden parts almost looking like autumn leaves or flames.
It is of course great textures to be seen in this painting, and also very fine lines and shapes. You have handled the light so well.
The tall format is working well, and by the perfect placement of the white blossoms, it is a very good balance in the composition. Indeed a beautiful and well done painting Ray, and I wish you luck with the contest. Would have given you 6 stars if I had any left.
