Your use of the loma-ish filter turned a simple sketch into a very much alive cat like hunter! The fire in those eyes is very realistic! So creative!

Jim,
sorry for the delay in responding to your kind review of this piece.
The eyes in this one are intended to capture your imagination and to fill in what is not shown. Is it a Tiger on the prowl, coming out of the darkness, the underbrush, in pursuit of a kill!
thank you.
cheers
Lucien

Oooh. This is perfect for, The Eyes have It, art contest. Just look at those blood red eyes. So moody! You have a true talent with graphite pencils. Great job.

I really like your narrative on this piece, thank you. Sometimes less is more, like in this case, it causes the viewer of the image to add to what as drawn.
thank you also, your best wishes for the drawing in the contest.

This artwork is not what it seems. I don't know what animal it depicts. I can guess, but I don't care. I sense a luminous quality. I see a pounce about to happen!:) I see micro and macro views at the same time. Interesting art! Good luck!

Nice work including the red eyes. Your title is rather neat! The drawing with graphite, and colored pencils, with the enhancement of the Picasa program's bit makes this all in all a fine work indeed.

Really nice use of mixed media here. The pop of red in the eyes and throughout looks nice. Love the lines and highlights and lowlights are done quite well.

To me this is not much to show but I think that it gets to the point. I also think that it doesn't take a whole photo to get something as simple as this. Those eyes and those marks all over makes you think of what kind of animal that this is and one you don't want to meet up with. I really see an outstanding work from a talented artist and I wish you the best in the contest. JackJr.
