I do really enjoy this, my friend Nancy; It is one of the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen, deserving of a "6" really. Your capture of it is skilled also. I love those streaks of colors in it and its natural subtle colors. The inside portions are also beautiful.

The Dahlia flower has true beauty and your focus is sharp showing the petals and centre of flower clearly.
Colors are great.
Your mixed media edit works although I am pretty sure the original would have been beautiful in itself.
