Well you can't get anymore old than this LOL. The image is well taken! Focus excellent. Colors, tones and presentation are spot on. Overall a nice image. Thanks for sharing!

Brian,
An interesting picture of this Viking Skeleton displayed in the Jorvik centre in York the light highlighting it's skull. The rib bones, femur & hands are lined up alongside the spine. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.
Susan

What a funny-sounding title! An out-of-the-box posting. The light and shadows, colours, and composition have worked out well. Good luck in the contest!

Ah! This appears very old and best wishes in the contest. Best wishes in the contest. The scene is somewhat gory and scary, as well as a sad scene. Your composition makes it even more scary and sad.

Can't get much older than that other than perhaps the ashes - great find Brian and your handling of lighting is excellent.
Good composition and clarity of the skeleton.
Focus is sharp.

This is for sure something old Brian, and I like the close and personal approach and how well you have used the light. The skeleton is also standing out well from the background.

The photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details in every part of the skeleton, and the exposure is very good.

I also like the tight cropping and the format. The skeleton is well placed within the frame. I think this is a well taken photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

A good looking historical image posted here! We visited that centre many years ago. Your fine and full composition grants us a good view of that ancient unfortunate. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!
