It is so amazing that in the smaller image one can see Christ's face. Like Christ Firefighters give everything they have to help us with total disregard for their own survival. We owe them so much. I can't even imagine the strength of the survivors who lose their fellow comrades. we have no idea what the depth of your pain is! So,thank you for being there for us no matter what! What you did here was so clever! This so represents the love and commitment firefighters have no matter what the circumstances may prevail. The put their lives on the line for us. This truly is a lovely piece of artwork. There is so much within this piece that I can't find the words to express! I think this piece would mean a lot to your fellow firefighters! Bless you Ray and all firefighters for serving! :o) Nancy

Nancy, thank you so much for your outstanding review, rating and comments. They mean a lot, you understand and that matters. I told you how it came about, I just had to do it. I had a vision of how it should be. I sketched it out and cut the logo out and it was the perfect size and the collage was done. I am so glad you enjoyed this, I thought it was kind of special. I think First Responders see things in a whole different light. If you're a creative person like yourself, you touch on and bring forth visuals others don't see. I think that's what you did in this piece. Bravo Ray! :o)

Taking creativity to another level here Ray. From the thumbnail it looked like Christ's face but the way that you have incorporated the FDNY logo is genius. Those firefighters were true heroes and made a huge sacrifice. A powerful and talented piece of art that speaks volumes.

Strong emotional impact: this is a very to the point piece, I think it's an amazing way to honor the memory of the Firefighters who gave their lives on that terrible day, the drawing is of course well executed, the logo to represent both Christs face and the firefighters is brilliant .

Pat, thank you for your wonderful review, rating and thoughtful comments. You are right this had a very emotional impact and it was unbearable. I went to so many funerals of Officers, fire fighters and sons of firefighters who were firefighters. So many tears.
So nice to hear your grandson is going to train to become a firefighter. A very honorable profession. He will meet so many amazing people who are devoted to helping others. Its like a big family.

The sketch at a glance is not captivating until you read the narrative. I needed to enlarge it to actually see the concept. I hope you understand what I'm trying to explain.
