I can remember when I was a kid and we used to love to pick berries from the bushes. We learned quickly which ones were poisoning and which ones were edible. I love this visual. It really brought back some childhood memories

We have the same sweet childhood memories. I knew where to go after the rain, the berries are ripe and vibrant.

Different for a contest and a subject that you would probarly not take as a photo,but any subject can be used,think the berries could be a tad sharper in this and maybe a tighter crop,of course it could be a download thing,i like that one berry is a different color adds contrast...Brian

This contest is for letter B. Brian, you need to go back to your ABC book. The original image of this picture is 11.3 taken by high resolution 26.7 Canon. This image already get several 6 from competent and recognized reviewers here. So I strongly disagree with this rating. You need to upgrade your knowledge and skills on the technical aspects of photography especially the definition of SHARPNESS to be a competent reviewer. Integrity and honesty counts all the time, too. No offense meant, but the mistake of this review is so wrong beyond reasonable doubt.

So lets get this right this image on my computer just does not look totally sharp hence the 4.5 and i know itsa B contest and berries begins with a b my comments just ment the subject was not a common one to take so did not mean anything by that,also i did not take offence [unlike you] that you gave me 4 for the rhododedrum photo so i do find your comments slightly rude,i have reviewed thousands of photos on here and sent in loads so think my knowledge to be reasonble accurate [of course i have been wrong in the past[as are most of us from time to time,i do try to be honest on here and view images as i see them unlike a few that give fives and sometimes sixes regardless of quality even seen people give high scores that are really out of focus[and that helps no one,i saw your image as it was and tried an honest review as i saw it and thats all

I gave you (4) for that rhododendron and FAR gave me membership pump plus bonus because it was a good and fair review.

Lovely image of the berries with the promise of summer to come. The contrasting colors of the varying stages of ripeness against the green foliage is good. Composition is great and your focus sharp.

I love this photo, I really enjoy the progression of the colors and how the berry is made. Beautiful leaves and well framed. It shows the berry in its natural state and really is very pleasant to the eye.

The photo is sharp showing really clear and well defined details in all the berries, and the exposure is spot on. I also appreciate the nice and natural colors.
