Really nice wildlife shot Charlotte and i also know there are a lot of seals in north norfolk to view,they do tell you not to get near so guess this is a long lens shot,good one...Brian

Thanks so much Brian. Yes the same applies at Donna Nook (you ought to go one day, it's amazing!), there's a low fence between the footpath and the beach, but the footpath runs the alongside the beach and some of the babes even sleep leaning against the fence, so they really are pretty close! But yes I did use a 250mm lens to capture this one.

A beautiful picture of the Seal Pup suckling from it's mother while lying on the snow covered ground, it's thick fur coat protecting it & it's mother from the icy temperatures. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

The color palette is limited to the surroundings but that only enhances the contrast.
