This is the type of art I am familiar with, although I use graphite to draw with. I've tried charcoal and find it is too unforgiving, so the fact that you have created a masterpiece with this medium is truly amazing. I love the details you have included. Great work.

They definitely are, was fortunate enough to have one bring her kits to get handouts one year, along with Mom trying to teach them how to drink from the hummingbird feeder-lol! This really brings back a lot of fond (and fun) memories!

This has skill it has humour also. I live the expressions. They remind me of a gang weighing up the situation or a mum and kids keeping a watch. The black and white and shading suits this artwork very well.

Your charcoal drawing of the raccoons is amazing. How cute they are , and how wonderfully you have drawn. Such detail with the delicate whiskers. This pack looks like they're definitely ready for mischief. Well done

I love the shading on this piece. I really don't know much about art so feel a little inadequate to review your piece. But the gaze of the racoons drew me in. Lovely piece of art work. I am sure blending the tones with charcoal is not an easy task.

Hi Maureen, I love Raccoons and I think black and white works very well. They all look so inquisitive and intelligent. Love the background and composition. Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest :-)

Charcoal artwork of the racoon family captures the subject's essence beautifully, revealing their unique character and personality. The use of black and white and shading creates a sense of depth and dimension that's truly captivating. Well done! Good luck!
