Beautiful. I love the framing placement with sufficient negative space, and you make this small snow-covered spruce looks big. Clarity of textures of the fresh snow and the shaped of the tree. A nice entry and perfect scene for me right now struggling with a 91 degree temps.

Yep, winter is just around the corner. This little spruce looks comfortable, as it rests with its blanket of snow. I love the way the cloud cover sky is accenting / supporting the snow on the ground - it's truly adding to the composition and interest of the image. A fitting entry for the contest that meets the topic with a well taken, well focused, detailed / sharp image that projects the coolness of the winter season. Good Luck in the contest. KB
