This is a beautiful shot of the mountain with a lovely blue sky as a backdrop. However I think he photograph would have had a better impact without the buildings in the foreground.

Chuch, that looks like a solid rocky mountain. I love the clarity of textures and it looks like a hot day, too. Its dominant grayish color made a nice contrast with the bright blue sky. I appreciate the greeneries in the foreground. Great angle, focus, and lighting. Thanks for sharing your adventure in South Africa. This is a magnificent scene and is a pleasure to view.

Thank you very much. We were supposed to go up to the top via cable car in the AM, but it was so windy they shut down the ride.

At least you still have this image. Safety comes first. It is a good thing that it was cancelled.

A very nice image that, due to your angle and perspective of the shot, allowed for nice scale - showing the massive height of the mountain. I'll offer a couple of suggestions for your consideration. Maybe remove the rooftop of the building in the bottom edge of the print. Consider straightening the image with the left-hand building as a guide.
