This is an interesting photograph of the monastery in the hills above the ocean. I think it is a good entry into the contest. I was going to object to the crane in the photograph, however I realize it shows mans impact on the environment. Good luck in the contest.

Informative artist's notes. It is interesting to know that this coast is the location of about thirteen monasteries. This one looks really quaint and archaic. I love how you have included the thick foliage of greeneries specifically the evergreens and that it is overlooking the ocean. Excellent angle showcasing the architectural design. It must be under construction, too, because of the presence of the crane. Well framed and you have captured this well, Bryan.

Looks like this monastery is under some massive repair work. The image certainly tells a story. The scene is nice and clear throughout and offers multiple, interesting compositional elements with the various lines, shapes and repeated patterns. Framed perfectly with the equipment retained in the image and with the water offering placement (surrounding). Very nice - good luck in the contest.
