How in the world did that tree frog or toad get on top of that bottle? LOL I'm so glad you snapped a picture of this! Unusual shots like this don't come about very often! Yours is a gem! Can't believe you worked around him all day and it didn't phase him at all! Love the lighting and the focus, but more than that, I LOVE the story!!!! So cool Cindy!!!! :o) Nancy

Thank you, Nancy. Maybe he was hoping to get a sip from the bottle LOL, I do suspect maybe the fact that his color matched my oatmeal, wall and countertop may have given him a feeling of camouflage.

Wow, this image is a very funny capture and very unusual. How on earth did he manage to balance himself so happily :-) Love the colours, textures and layers with just the right amount of bokeh. I would love to see the front view of this. Very funny, thanks for sharing :-)

Ha! Haa!The beauty of photography lies in its ability to freeze a moment in timeā"a bird's poised dive, a fish caught mid-leap, or a toad in deep meditation:) You have done it here. :):):) Thanks for sharing!

A good looking image presented here, together with fascinating notes too! Intrigued by the name on the bottle. As a Brit, I instantly thought that someone was being stupid! Well taken.

Definitely an unusual photograph! How the heck did he get into your kitchen? He looks like a little porker, Did he go on his way later in the day or did you have to help him find his way out? Definitely a very interesting post.

Thank you. I have asked myself that question. All I can figure is I must have left my patio door open a tad at some point. He sat there about 7 hours before he hopped down on one of my tomato's and I carried him back out to the patio:)

This immediately makes me wonder how this little frog got in here . What an interesting image this is ! The frog must be tiny !
Well captured with good focus, this image is clear and exposure is correct, it's humorous to look at the expression on frogs face, he or she has just made itself at home in your kitchen.
Well presented! Thank you for sharing !

Cindy this is so cool and the story is so cool too. I can't figure out how this toad landed on the top of this bottle or why. This is a great shot and story. Ray

Thank you, Ray :) I know those little guys find a place to hide for the day and come out in the evening. I kind of think it was the color of the oats, counter and wall that made him feel camouflaged.

I love your work Cindy. Ray

Cindy - it sounds like you had a very interesting morning with your newfound friend. Ha,ha,ha. How funny - this little one found a place to perch and enjoy the day! Curious - did you use a flash? I appreciate the large container of oats on the counter that allows us (the viewers) to size the frog. He is a tiny little thing. Your camera settings were all stellar and allows a nice appreciation of his/her patterns and even skin texture. This image certainly has a story to be told. LOL.

Thank you Kathy, no, I had the under-cabinet light on. The little bottle is only 4" tall.

Thank you Maureen. The only thing I could think of was with the colors of his surroundings he felt camouflaged for the day.
