Very well taken image of the White House. Your head-on perspective offers the dominance this subject rightfully deserves. Were you able to tour inside?
The White House offers an abundance of interest with its architecture offering insurmountable interest with symmetry, repeating patterns lines and shapes. The Flag at half-mast obviously adds or rather creates a story by causing viewers to wonder what happen that day.
You were elevated perfectly to avoid getting two much of the tourist in the shot and consequently retained the dynamic appeal of the subject at hand.

What a wonderful photo of the White House with the flag flying in the breeze, though sadly at half mast. I particularly like that sky with the beautiful clouds. Colors are all vibrant and the photo is very well focused with excellent exposure!

Great looking shot of the Famous House nikman. Great natural colours with very good exposure. Focus, clarity and composition are very good. I wonder why the flag is at half-mast. Very well done and thanks for sharing :-)

Looks like the flag was lowered to half mast to honour the memory of the victims of the shooting at the Santa Fe school.

A very nice photograph of the White House, an you caught the top of the Washington monument in the background. The image is clear and well focused, a beautiful blue sky with light wispy clouds in the sky. A very nice presentation.

Whether you realize it or not you took a very patriotic shot of the capital of the United States! The blue sky up above and the white of the White House (which has been very well captured by the way) outlined by the small amount of red at the bottom includes all the colors of our flag! I like the consistent bright light throughout and the well done dof. Nicely focused to show the many fine details. Thanks for sharing!
