Hi Pat, Just something to take your mind off of the cold and savor the warmth. Thank you for the wonderful review. Soon the tulips will be popping and the warmth will follow. I am glad you enjoyed it. Ray

For me, on the other side of 2024, I want to look back and focus on all the positive things that happened, everything bright, cheery, happy, and try not to dwell on the negative. I like the colors you have used, I look across the river and see Spring awakening the earth with it's glorious colors, and see a row of trees along the shore in full bloom, all reflected in the water, hoping this is an indication of what lays ahead for us all in the new year. Best wishes for a happy, healthy New Year, Ray!

LeeAnn I love water features and with this painting I am welcoming the blossoms of spring along the banks of a swift moving stream and its reflection in the bright sun light. I am so glad you enjoy this, it was very spontaneous and you read it like a book. Thank you for you rwonderful review, rating and your lovely description. Happy New Year. Ray

Ray, I try to see what you are conveying in your art, but sometimes it escapes me. The colors and motion are there, but I don't see the connection to the title. help me out here.

Michele, this one is easy If you walk down a path adjacent to a river or a stream and you looked across the river or stream, what would you see? The other side and that is the whole story. A lot of my work has to do with looking at water, I grew up with water. There are several levels you can see in my work .Things to observe to appreciate are the different colors, shapes, palette strokes, repetition ... all this is seeing and experiencing art. How did I do?? Ray

Oh Ray. Here is one of your abstracts that have me looking longer to see if there is something hidden or a deeper meaning but nope. That's ok.
I like the green and orange complimentary to each other here.
Frankly, regarding your title, my thoughts on the other side of 24, is that I hope it is easier to navigate. I know that every year brings me new experiences and always some lessons. I dust my feet of the muck and mire and look to the Light, hoping my new tools and knowledge are beneficial in whatever comes in '25! Time to thrive in 25! Hoping your New Year bings more Love, Joy and peace to you!

I love the layers of warm colors. I gives me hope that the other side of 2024 will be bright and filled with joyous days. The white splashes made me think of the soothing sound of the ocean waves and splashes. A pretty uplifting piece, Ray. Excellent choice of happy colors.

This abstract stirs my imagination and brings to mind "Energy or Static Electricity" with the bands of white that interrupt my perception of the status quo. Happy New Year, Ray. Here's hoping 2025 is great!

One of the remarkable aspects of abstract art is its versatility. It can be vibrant and energetic or tranquil and contemplative, making it suitable for any mood or space. You evoke all these qualities in your paintings. This one is no exception. Well done!
