Great shot here Kathy of this Bald Eagles Majestic flight. The sky has worked very well in this case. Great colours and exposure. Great focus on the eye, beak and feathers. Well placed within the frame. A great stop action shot. Well done and thanks for sharing :-)

Nice shot of this eagle and probarly changing background proved to be the right way to go about this one,getting the wingspan at fullish stretch also helps in this one...Brian

What a magnificent capture of this national symbol. Very sharp and well placed in the frame.
I have not been a big fan of the sky replacement tool in PS, but you did a good job here. Well done!

Thanks Allan, it seems to depend on the image whether or not the tool will work. Also depends on which sky is selected. I appreciate the extra star.

I think you did a very nice job and I am sure an improvement over the solid blue sky. I have been there too with a subject that is great but a sky that just does not do it justice, quite frustrating. The only thing I would suggest. Since the clouds give a feel that they are further back in the scene is too have defined the tail edges a little to match the rest of the bird. Your sharp focus on the Eagle and overall placement is very pleasing. Well done, thanks for sharing this beautiful bird:)

Thank you for your keen eye. Your suggestion sent me back to the original to toggle back and forth between the original sky and the replaced sky. The tail feathers do not change, but I see what you mean, with them now in the edge of that cloud, there is a perception that they have carried some of the hue from the cloud mass. I'll have to be aware of that in the future and keep an eye open. Thank You - that is so helpful. And thank you for taking the time to "Really" look (not many do) and offer support as well as helpful insights within your written review.
