Oh my goodness Susan , this is a new visitor to your yard and we see immediately that he is a predator by looking at his hooked bill.
He is beautiful and well captured as he sits waiting to make his next move,
Well focused, clear image with good use of the light ,

Thanks a million for your complementary review on the male Sparrow Hawk watching from the Mulberry tree. The first time I saw a male Sparrow Hawk it picked up an injured House Sparrow on the door step of the Patio door four feet away. I also saw one capture a small bird on the wing in Glendoher Park while walking Juno~Dog.
