Bob, this is a great picture of this blue bird trying to get it right. You caught it just right with the wings widely open. It is amazing to see complimentary colors and how they work so well. Thank you so much for sharing. Ray

Wow factor at first glance. I love the wingspan scene showcasing the prominent patterns of the wings and its colors. Excellent angle showing the clarity of the expressive eye. Great shot.

This is a great capture of this bird at the feeder persistently trying to get the right angle. Good stop action shot. What type of bird is this? Your focus and clarity are spot on; a very nice visual submission.

Hi Michele.. This is a male Eastern Bluebird, who's supposed to be somewhere in the Southeast USA this time in mid-January.

Bob,
A beautiful stop action picture of this male Blue Bird landing on the Chickadee feeder the light sparkling in his eye while highlighting his colourful blue & orange plumage. Beautiful composition framing & lighting. Taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Outstanding job, friend Bob. Outstanding scene as well as your creative weaving of the occurrence. The blues in the bird so compliment the rest of the scene, as does the browns in its chest. Enjoy your work again after personal losses.
