wow it is flat there just like the Mississippi Delta(they grow cotton there). interesting capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this field with tractor tire prints in the dirt is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye interesting to the viewer. good eye a great job overall

Very many thanks for your bubbing review! In that field and others, farmers grow a multitude of leeks.

almost half the cotton that is grown in the world comes from MidSouth along side the Mississippi River. The Mississippi Delt is over 200 square miles of flatland and cotton fields. It was believed that during prehistoric times the delta was part of the Mississippi River..if was believed that river before the ice age the river was about 300 miles wide..its only a mile now.

A very interesting scene shown here. The view of the patterned ploughed fields from the foreground to what seems infinity is an unusual view.

NICE CAPTURE, as the rows and textures left by the Blade Of The Tiller gives you a long view, but more interesting to me is THE TREES Still standing on the old farmland.

Interesting and creatively presented photograph of the fields. The texture and shapes shows as a breaded hair; you have a great eye for finding great natural images as you go on your walks. Thank you for sharing!

A very interesting and unique visual presented here of this amazing farmland. I love the different patterns that have been produced from the tractor during harvest. Composition shades, tones, and angle presents the scene in a perfect way. Thank you for sharing.

Have seen many fields like this on my travels in the uk and they have all different patterns [most probarly to the way they are ploughed] what this i feel is crying out for is a tractor in the process of doing the ploughing and usually folled by seagulls would have made this altogether better[but still worth taking]....Brian

Nik,
A beautiful landscape photo of the large ploughed field with trees growing at the border of the tree in the distance under a almost clear blue sky. the furrows in the field lead the eye to the heart of the picture along the horizon. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques& sharp focus.

The shot's mood is both intense and serene. Your use of colour and form creates a dreamlike atmosphere that's hard to look away from. You may like to make the horizon horizontal for better impact. Thanks for sharing!
