Nice capture. The.angle of the shot of this wolf is great. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

Great shot here Kathy of this Coyote in a prairie of flowers at Yellowstone national Park. I feel like the flowers make this shot special if you imagine the shot without them. Great DOF, natural colours and good exposure. Great focus, texture and clarity. You framed the shot well. Very enjoyable visual. Well done and thanks for sharing :-)

Yes, I had two images, when contemplating what to post. The other gives a totally different vibe and captures this Coyote crossing a paved road. Thank you for this insightful review and gracious rating.

This is a fine shot of the wildlife! Wonder what this Koyote is up to! You timed it well, and the light, shadows, colours, and composition worked well. Good effort!

Wonderful photograph of this coyote as she is roaming three the field of flowers.
Wonderful details and placement within the frame. Very nice presentation with the slightly diffused field around the main subject!

This coyote is set against a truly great looking background of yellow flowers, and I like that it is in motion. I also like a lot how well you have brought out the fine textures of the fur, and how well it is standing out from the background.

The focus on the animal is spot on and sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the coyote. The exposure is perfect.

The format works well and I like that the animal has got room to move into. This is such a lovely and well taken photo Kathy, and with an excellent DOF.

I really like this image. Your skills came through. Perfect placement fo the subject, framed by the surrounding flowers.

The relatively shallow depth of field frames it again by clarity. The gaze of the coyote is fixed on something )a mouse). There is also a nice dynamic range throughout the image.

The only thing missing is the scientific name! : ))

Hi Allan, Thank you for this. Ha, Ha, you caught me - the scientific name is 'Canis latrans'. LOL. Thank you so much for this added 6th star.

This certainly deserves a six! The way the background is blurred, bringing out the details in the coyote is wonderful. Colors, focus, lighting are all wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful initial impact, I like the coyote walking through this field of golden. / yellow flowers.
The coyote is perfectly placed within the frame and I see its coat is very thick .
It's a lovely wildlife capture, focus is a bit soft on the face , especially on its left side of face.
For any living things I always shoot at 1/2000 at least and try for F at 7 or 8 , my focus is always on the eye.
I think that possibly your intent was to have softer focus .
This is a lovely scene that gives the viewer a good sense of this location.
Well presented!

Thank you, Pat for being my honest second set of eyes. I think my sharpening effort may have softened it a bit.
