Kathy,
A very beautiful picture of this Bull Moose coming out of the bushes the sunlight shining on him highlights both his shape and his fur coat & antlers as he
stands out from the bushes in the background. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Ok I see Bullwinkle..where is Rocky? Lol..cool capture. The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of this moose in the bush is great. The capture of the light is great. The presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

This is such a lovely shot of the bull moose! You've done a great job with the framing, and the way the light, shadows, and colours interact is really pleasing to the eye. Good effort!

Another good wildlife shot and with a long lens as don,t think you would want to be to near one of these as it looks a bit fearsome in this one,it does stand out well against this background though...Brian

You have pictured this bull moose so well, and I like the way he is lifting his leg. I also like a lot the golden colors of the background and grass and how well the animal is standing out from it.

The photo is sharp and it is truly clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the moose. The colors look so nice and natural and the exposure just perfect,

I also like the square format you have cropped the photo into. The moose has got such a fine placement a bit off to the right. I think this is a great looking and well taken photo Kathy, and with an excellent DOF.

Thanks Annie - this image was printed onto a square coaster (to set beverages on). I used to have a display in the galleries with an assortment of coasters for patrons to purchase.

Hey, no fair, going for photo of the month again! : )

A very nice capture in the wild. Are you close to the subject or a safe distance away with a telephoto.

The subject is super sharp, you can count the hairs on its back.

The only thing that catches my eye is some of the grass in the foreground my be clipped (minor).

Nice job and I think I will be seeing this one again on FAR,

Allan, I'm happy you like this one. I used to participate in galleries, where I had a display of coasters. This image was formatted in a square for that purpose. I was actually only 25 - 30 feet away when I took this shot, I was surrounded by other photographers, and we were all nestled within adjacent tree trunks.
