Hi Jodi, these little marauders can be a handful! Lol I saw a posting on Facebook where someone used a Slinky on a pole birdfeeder to keep the squirrel from climbing up the pole. Every time the squirrel jumped on it, it's weight dropped it to the ground and he lost his grip. It took him a while to realize he wasn't going to get to that bird feeder.
With all of the above said this squirrel is pretty cute! Love how he's looking at you. Focus and lighting show the little guy off well. Sorry about your birdfeeder though. Good luck in the contest! :o) Nancy

I know exactly what you're talking about with this little critter! We used to get tons of squirrels here, eating all our birdseed and swinging off the feeders as though it was some kind of amusement park for them! Then I got two more cats and they don't show up as much anymore! But now the birds don't either, And that's a bummer!
You've captured this squirrel with an innocent face quite decently. Ha! Nice pic

Great shot here of this Squirrel posing for you. They are a bit crazy and can attack in this situation. They are super fast and athletic. They are cute though and you have shown that well. A beautiful picture of this Fox squirrel in a sunbeam with the light sparkling in it's eyes while highlighting it's beautiful fur coat standing out from it's background. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A lovely capture of this little squirrel. Beautiful focus and clarity showing his hair and a lovely face. They are very destructive when it comes to food. I have one that climbs up my leg to be fed by hand.

Jodi, the squirrel is back and I think he wants a peanut. this is a very nice capture of a very talented animal and cute too. He makes his nest in the trees and forages for nuts and such and plants them in my front lawn, but I don't mind. This is a fine picture of this squirrel nice coloring and features. Nicely placed in the frame. I grew up with pet squirrels. Thanks for the wonderful memories. Ray
